PTAC CLEANING: (covers, fiber filters & coils cleaned)

PTAC unit: Self Contained Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners
PTAC Maintenance: Every PTAC manufacturer recommends a complete cleaning at least once per year, or more, if local conditions warrant.
Cleaning a PTAC unit: Our process of cleaning consists of a water & chemical flush of the coils, fans, and pan. The whole process is done in the room. Two hoses enter the building from the truck mounted machine outside. One hose sends pressured water & chemical to spray coils, fans, and pans. The second hose is used to vacuum the dirt, slime, and debris outside to the waste tank in truck. This process starts by placing a rubber back rug under PTAC unit on floor. With the cover on PTAC unit we spray clean cover, louvers, clean filter, remove cover and spray clean coil. Next, slide PTAC unit approximately 8-10 inches out from the wall and clean fans, coils, and pan.
